First line visits

We got in touch with Ardent to provide us with a full condition survey for our existing lifts.

Their findings suggested a full refurbishment of our existing lifts was to be carried out, phased out to allow for adequate spread of cost to our leaseholders.

Our site is quite complex and unique but great service has been provided at all times; Ardent were also presented with challenges and complexities, given to the nature of our listed and aged buildings.

Although we started engaging them during COVID-19 restrictions, our communication has always been very positive and productive, given attention to all key aspects of our project.

I would recommend working with them and we will certainly do so for other projects.

We were delighted with both the quality of the final outcome and the management of the work-programme.

The project was only a week behind schedule, which is nothing given its complexity.

After a few minor teething issues we have a lift, which looks as beautiful when it was originally installed, but now moves with the smoothness of a modern one.

Today I attended the handover of the third and final refurbished lift at St Leonards. It was a pleasure to see previously dilapidated, unreliable lifts in such a good condition.

The construction works led by Martin Meltzer, Site FSM Tony Bryan together with the concise and fundamentally wholesome scope developed and managed by Chris Eaton of Ardent allowed PIP lifts to execute such works.

This investment has the patient at the centre of its rationale providing safe, compliant, reliable lifts within a much-needed local healthcare resource in the heart of Hoxton. It also illustrates the great collaborative work between FM Ops and Construction. A great all-round effort with a patient centric result.
