Lift portfolio management

This month we have assisted a client with a high profile central London portfolio to plan for major works to their lifts over a 5 year term – most of their lift portfolio was over 20 years old!

Following surveys undertaken on the lifts, we collated a document to highlight condition of lifts, when considering usage and importance to the portfolio’s efficient operation. Based on our findings we collated the information into a user friendly report to assist the client in planning for the forthcoming capital expenditure.

To the left is a snapshot from the report and below what our client said about it:

“We recently instructed Gareth Lomax of Ardent Lift Consultancy to carry out a full audit of all 11 lifts on our client’s portfolio, this including comprehensive surveys of all 11 lifts, providing recommendations, budgetary figures, tendering the maintenance contract, and providing a detailed overview of all the lifts.

Once the project was complete we had a complete understanding of all the lifts on the portfolio and we can now budget and plan for future replacements or refurbishments as necessary, not to mention saving our client around £6,000 per annum on maintenance costs!!
